Seminar Overview

Introducing Six Month Smiles Invisible Aligners! Our Level 2 Seminar will focus on advanced techniques for treating patients with Clear Braces, which now includes educating on how to treat patients with Aligners and Mixed Appliances (Aligners on one arch and Braces on the other arch).

 

Educational objectives - At the completion of this course, attendees should be able to:

  • Diagnose and treatment plan complex Short-Term Ortho (STO) cases.
  • Set up combination cases involving STO and veneers, bridges, implants, bonding and/or recountouring.
  • Know when and how to use elastics, springs and other ancillary STO components.
  • Address complex challenges.
  • Understand retention – how, when and why.
  • Understand how to develop specific treatment plans and present cases.

The main goal of Level 2 is treat more patients with increased efficiency and additional complexity, core ideas covered are:

  • Overjet management and IPR
  • Arch development
  • Case management with primary or missing teeth
  • Improve root angulations
  • Finishing movements and moving stubborn teeth
  • Using Altered Bracket Position to speed up treatment
